As you many know by now I am a “graphic designer for print”. The design knowledge required in making and preparing files for print is a whole different animal to designing for online. I don’t build website but I can design visuals for one. This means I can design graphics that you can give your website builder/developer who can translate my designs to an online environment. A recent project I completed for IMC Car Parks in Dun Laoighaire is an example of this. I supply pdfs of the visuals and a website builder can take these visuals and translate them online. It means the look and brand of the website is maintained. See below my designs.
Keeping the colours of IMC, I created a look reflecting the lines and markings in a car park. Moving the image to a diagonal gave the site individual and unique impressions. The overall final look was dynamic, on brand and strong.
