Last February I had a zoom call with SOSU regarding their digital graphic requirements. I was then taken on board on a contract while they launched their new products over the last few months. Since then I have worked mostly on their beauty packaging design and their in-store point of sale and stands. I started working on the Christmas packaging almost immediately which was a dream come true. I realise that beauty packaging design is where my heart is. This is the stuff that gets the creative juices flowing and the passion going.
Christmas Packaging
The design manager had a strong direction in terms of the boxes and colour from the brand so we worked together to apply an extra bit of sparkle using rose gold foil with ribbon and the final result of the packaging design is a strong in-store set of products with an extra festive feel. All products came with their own set of directions, INCI, POA, colour matching swatch so the technical side of the packing was the longer process with the buying team working like a dream. Below is an example of all the products and I’m proud of all of them.
In-store Event Graphics and Staging
As part of their in-store events, I worked with the retail team to design a set for Suzanne to chat with Paula Callan as part of their Christmas Showcases around the country. Below shows the images I created along with the final in-store event. Being a graphic designer always gives me challenges. Funnily enough I started off doing interior design and to this day I still manage to use those skills to create 3D illustrations.
